Primary References: Revelation 11:18
Revelation 11:18 suggests the judgment of the righteous between the wrath of God and the destruction of the unrighteous (the judgment of the wicked waits until the great white throne judgments in Revelation 20). The judged are the dead, the prophets, the saints, and those who fear the name of God. After receiving their crown and raiment judgments following the rapture, the righteous now receive the works reward judgment promised in 1 Corinthians 3:9-15. Throughout their lives, every person's works are recorded in a book of works (Revelation 20:12). At the righteous' reward judgment, God purges sin out of this book by burning its combustible materials (wood, hay, and stubble) and leaving only the works of righteousness, precious materials like gold, silver, and precious stones. God tells Christians to prepare for this Day of Judgment by laying up riches for eternal life through good works (1 Timothy 6:17-19). The saints have now received their crowns, raiment, and rewards. All that remains of the saint's rewards is the allocation of governmental dominions, which occurs after the judgment of nations in the millennium transition period.
